Vision Statement

Our Vision is to establish a community of Christian believers, discovering developing, and deploying their God-given individual gifts, thereby exemplifying the manifest Body of Christ and building His kingdom in this city and beyond. We believe that a great commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment will build a great church.

As Jesus told the apostle Peter “I will build my Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.” Jesus taught the Body-Life principle all throughout the Gospels. Each one of His people are a part of the whole Body of Christ and as such are given a part to play, (our function in the body), Our part in the Body is something different and every believer has the duty to discover, develop and deploy as we gather together. When parts of the body is handicapped, the rest suffer for it. What’s more the gathering in of the chosen (evangelism) is slowed.

A great problem among Christians today is biblical illiteracy. Christians just aren’t as familiar with the Word of God as they need to be. We strive to change that and make it our goal that the members of this body become highly educated in the Word of God. This will empower each other to better live their purpose in the Body of Christ and will ripple out into our community.

We believe strongly that in this day and time we need to make manifest the Body of Christ as much as possible in order to do our part in the Great Harvest. This is how we will bring the the lost and hurting people in our community to a saving faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Values

  • In essential beliefs– we have unity. “There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all..” (Eph. 4:4-6)
  • In non-essential beliefs– we have liberty. “Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls… So the each of us will give an account of himself to God…. So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.” (Romans 14:1,4,12,22)
  • In our beliefs we show charity. “…If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but allso the very secreats of God, and if I have the face that can move mountains—but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.” (1 Cor. 13:2)
