Vision Statement

Our Vision is to establish a community of Christian believers, discovering developing, and deploying their God-given individual gifts, thereby exemplifying the manifest Body of Christ and building His kingdom in this city and beyond. We believe that a great commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment will build a great church.

As Jesus told the apostle Peter “I will build my Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.” Jesus taught the Body-Life principle throughout the Gospels. Each one of His people is a part of the whole Body of Christ and as such is given a part to play, (our function in the body), Our part in the Body is something different and every believer has the duty to discover, develop and deploy as we gather together. When parts of the body are handicapped, the rest suffer for it. What’s more, the gathering of the chosen (evangelism) is slowed.

A great problem among Christians today is biblical illiteracy. Christians just aren’t as familiar with the Word of God as they need to be. We strive to change that and make it our goal that the members of this body become highly educated in the Word of God. This will empower each other to better live their purpose in the Body of Christ and will ripple out into our community.

We believe strongly that in this day and time we need to make manifest the Body of Christ as much as possible to do our part in the Great Harvest. This is how we will bring the lost and hurting people in our community to a saving faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
